Rihanna scores her 14th No. 1 hit on Billboard Hot 100 and breaks her tie with Michael Jackson for the same amount of chart-topping songs with the 'Anti' lead cut, 'Work'.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna proves that her eighth album is really worth the long wait. Four years after dropping "Unapologetic" that became her first-ever No. 1 release on Billboard 200, she returned earlier this year with "Anti", which peaked atop the same list.

The record, which fans began anticipating last year, was also immediately certified Platinum by the RIAA after she and Samsung made a million copies available for free download via Tidal as part of her $25 million deal with the South Korean electronic giant.

The free copies, however, weren't counted by Nielsen Music that has been providing data for Billboard's charts. As a result, "Anti" could only debut on Billboard 200 at No. 27 with less than 1000 copies sold before reaching No. 1 with additional 166,000 units in its second week.

"Anti" is led by the single "Work", which reunites RiRi with her "What's My Name?" and "Take Care" collaborator Drake. The catchy song arrived on Billboard Hot 100 at No. 9 and slowly climbed up the chart until it hit No. 1 upon the release of its two-part music video.

This is a huge milestone for the Bajan singer. The track becomes her 14th No. 1 hit on the list and officially breaks her tie with legend Michael Jackson for the same amount of No. 1 songs. Only Mariah Carey and The Beatles currently have more No. 1 singles than her in the Hot 100 history.

Rihanna is now gearing up to embark on her "Anti" tour to support the LP. Recently, "production delay" forced her to push back some of the first few dates. The trek's now slated to open on March 12 in Jacksonville.
