Madonna just expressed how much she missed her son Rocco amid her ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. On early Monday, February 22, the Material Girl posted on Instagram a heartfelt note for the 15-year-old boy.
"I miss this boy so full of life so full@of@love!" she wrote in a caption of a photo showing a shirtless Rocco smiling and wearing flowers around his neck. Referring to his star sign, she added, "I hope we see that Leo Sun soon. The light is blinding!"
Rocco had been traveling with Madonna for her "Rebel Heart" tour, but he left to be with his father Guy Ritchie in London in December. "He's not getting along with his mom, which is not a surprise for a child that age," a source said at the time. The mother and son reportedly were feuding over a mobile phone.
Another source said that it's hard for Rocco to stay at Madonna's house in New York without his sister Lourdes, who went away to college in Michigan last year. "Rocco misses Lola so it's really hard for him not having her around at Madonna's house," the source explained. "He is incredibly close to her so it's really hard for him to be alone at his mom's without her."
