While there's still no new Tove Lo album, the Swedish singer/songwriter keeps her fans entertained with a new song called "Scars". The track was released on Friday, February 19 as the first offering from the soundtrack to the upcoming "The Divergent Series: Allegiant".

The mid-tempo electro/pop ballad finds Lo talking about the suffering she's experienced in the past and the positive lessons she learns from her dark past. "Know they're cutting you deep/ Feel the scars in your sleep/ What didn't kill us made us stronger/ Stories left on our skin/ Wear them with everything/ What didn't kill us made us stronger," she sings the chorus.

"Scars" was co-penned by Lo along with Jakob Jerlstrom and Ludvig Soderberg who have previously collaborated with the songstress on her debut album, "Queen of the Clouds". The track came a month before "Allegiant" opens in theaters across the nation on March 18. Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Jeff Daniels, Octavia Spencer, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort are among the film's cast members.
