Get Details of Forest Whitaker's Character in 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'
Movie

Whitaker's character in 'Rogue One' is described as a veteran of some battles who has one leg and uses a cane as a crutch to walk.

AceShowbiz - A lot of characters in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" are still kept under wraps. However, Making Star Wars managed to get some information regarding the character played by Forest Whitaker in the "Star Wars" standalone film.

According to the website, the 54-year-old actor's character is likely "a veteran of some battles, but it isn't clear if he lost his leg fighting in the Clone Wars or against the Empire. Based on a differentiated code name from the rest of the rebels in the movie, it appears he is likely good but maybe a bounty hunter affiliated type."

In terms of appearance, the character may have "one leg and use a cane as a crutch to walk." The website also noted that the leg would be more of a "robot leg." Furthermore, he apparently wears "a cape and his costume is a hodgepodge of different things."

Most recently, costumes of some characters from "Rogue One" were displayed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, Germany. The four outfits displayed at the exhibition are worn by characters played by Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen.

"Rogue One", which takes place between "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" and "Episode IV", will involve the heist of the plans for the Death Star. Gareth Edwards is helming the project. It is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on December 16.
