Jennifer Lopez gets emotional thinking about how much she's going to miss 'American Idol' while watching four contestants singing in a group performance.

AceShowbiz - Here comes the most dramatic round of "American Idol". On Thursday night, January 28, the 108 remaining contestants split into groups of three or four to perform before the judges. They stayed up all night rehearsing their performances and choreography, but some faced a big problem.

Shelbie Z's group was forced to find her replacement when she suddenly walked away. Poh Scott dropped out of the competition, leaving Dalton Rapattoni and Kassy Levels in jeopardy. According to Poh's father, she couldn't handle the pressure of the competition.

The next day, Blue Eyes consisting of Kory Wheeler, Jenna Renae, Kelsie Watts and Jordan Sasser performed first. They sang "Treasure" by Bruno Mars and Jennifer Lopez called it "a great start to group day." The four of them advanced.

Sara Sturm, Jenn Blosil, Lynnzee Fraye and Bri Ray were in a group called Milk and Cookies. They sang "Drag Me Down" by One Direction and made it through. All four members of Ooh X 2, including Amelia Eisenhauer, Tristan McIntosh and Lee Jean, as well as another group of four consisting Avalon Young had the same fate.

Chynna Sherrod and Terrian were singing in the next group. During their performance of "Rather Be", J.Lo whispered to Harry Connick Jr., "I'm gonna miss 'Idol'." Trent Harmon, who found out he had mono the day before, had to perform solo and he also sang "Rather Be". While it wasn't perfect, the judges liked it and sent him through.

Singing Out Loud consisted of Shelbie Z which departed her original group. The two other members Michelle Marie and Lindsey Carrier were arguing over which song they should pick before they went with "Undo It". Ashley Lusk was the only member eliminated after the group performance.

Elvie Shane's group sang Alex Clare's "Too Close" and he's the only member of the group who advanced. Ashley Lilinoe, on the other hand, was the only member of her group to be eliminated and so was Cameron Richard.

Anatalia Villaranda lost her group after complaining that the song they had chosen was outside of her range. She ended up joining Rapattoni and Levels as Chicken Noodle Soup. They sang "Treasure" and were sent through.

N.V., which initially consisted of Anatalia, sang "One Less Problem" by Ariana Grande. Though Keith Urban said it looked like Andrew Nazarbekian had never been on a stage before, the judges sent them all to the next round.

The next group consisting of Marcio Donaldson, Jon Klaasen, Kylle Thomasson and Kacye Hynes delivered an energetic rendition of "Uptown Funk". The whole group advanced.

Joy Dove, Daniel Farmer and Lindita were in the next group, performing "Domino" by Jessie J. Daniel was cut, but the other two survived. Eliz Camacho, meanwhile, paid the price for being selfish when she forced her teammates Gianna Isabella and Dana Ordway to do a song she knew very well while her teammates were unfamiliar with it. At the end of the day as J.Lo said, "It's not always just about talent," and Eliz was eliminated.

Good Vibes didn't show good vibes on the stage. Jessica Paige was the only member who advanced from the group, while the other three were sent home. Jess Kellner and Jessica Baker were sent to the next round, while teammate Zach Joseph got the boot. Joseph Hendricks and Bryson Dunn were also sent packing, while Thomas Stringfellow and Thomas Muglia made it through.

La'Porsha Renae left her initial group to join a group which Shelbie Z abandoned. Group member Marlena Johnson had trouble memorizing her lyrics, but fortunately their performance went smooth. The whole group advanced.

The group that Shelbie left also managed to overcome their crisis after losing a member. They all were sent through. The next group, which included Laurel Wright, Marshall Cunningham, Drew Angus and John Arthur Greene, was in trouble when three of them forgot the lyrics during the performance. Laurel and Marshall made it through anyway, but the other two members didn't.
