AceShowbiz - Do you remember that One Direction planned to release "Infinity" as the final "Made in the A.M." single before they started their hiatus? Turns out the boys had filmed a music video for the track before they changed their mind and dropped "History" instead.
The visuals ended up being shelved and no one knew what it would look like until recently, when a video and photos taken on the filming set landed online. In the brief clip, the four lads are seen performing in what looks like a parking lot while the song plays in the background.

Behind them is a massive white backdrop featuring their faces drawn among other images seemingly created by fans. An eagle-eyed fan pointed out that the backdrop might be used during their appearance on "The X Factor" last month.

Written by Julian Bunetta, John Ryan and Jamie Scott, "Infinity" was first released in September as a countdown single preceding the release of One Direction's fifth studio effort. Because of that reason, some fans expressed their disappointment on Twitter after it was announced that the song would be the group's next official single.
