Hov is interested in mentoring the One Direction singer and will even do 'a joint venture' with Styles' boss at SyCo, Simon Cowell.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z can make Harry Styles the "biggest artist in the world," and he only needs a year to do so. The rapper made the statement in a new interview with the Daily Star Sunday as he expressed desire to sign the One Direction hottie as a solo artist to his label, Roc Nation.

"Harry doesn't need any help with exposure, everybody in the world knows who he is. But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist," Hov told the news outlet.

"I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers - have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year," he continued and added that he's even willing to do "a joint venture" with Simon Cowell, the boss of Styles' current label.

"I would love to sign Harry. Simon is going to want to carry on working with him, of course. But we could do a joint venture - we both have big qualities we can bring to the table," he explained.

Jay-Z's offer came just days after news broke that Hazza registered four new songs while his band's taking a lengthy break. Co-written by Snow Patrol's guitarist John McDaid and songwriter Gary Go, the tracks titled "Already Home", "Coco", "Endlessly" and "5378 Miles" were listed under his own name, prompting speculations that the 21-year-old might perform them as a solo artist.
