There have been numerous rumors about "Justice League Part One", including ones about the movie's villain. Casting website My Entertainment World recently shared the movie's possible synopsis which reveals who the bad guy the team will face off against when they appear in the big screen.

If the rumor is accurate, the titular group of superheroes will fight against Darkseid in "Justice League Part One". The said synopsis suggests that in the upcoming movie, "the world's greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips into the Earth's place."

Previous rumors said that it's Brainiac who would antagonize the superhero team, with Darkseid following in the second instalment. Darkseid was created by writer-artist Jack Kirby and first appeared in "Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen" #134.

The movie is set to begin pre-production in January 2016 in the U.K. There is no official cast announcement just yet, but Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot are expected to reprise their roles as Batman, Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

Zack Snyder will direct the movie with a script by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. Produced by Dan Lin and Doug Mitchell, "Justice League" is scheduled to be released in North America on November 12, 2017.
