AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj's fans worry about her condition and wonder where the rapper is as she's absent from social media for more than a week. Some of them, according to Inquisitr, are beginning to speculate that the "Anaconda" raptress is trying to avoid criticism regarding her boyfriend Meek Mill who has a beef with Drake.
Nicki last posted on Instagram a week ago, when she showed fans' Halloween costumes inspired by her and Beyonce Knowles' costumes. Meanwhile, her last post on Twitter was about ABC Family opening online audition for young version of her. Fan @sirconzor wrote on the rapper's Instagram page, "Where tf are u??? U can't just ditch us like this ;(." Another fan @trinidemgirls_nickiminaj commented, "Where are u??! I miss you so much!!"
A fan, who disapproves of Nicki's relationship with Meek, reportedly wrote, "Nicki please take notes, just know when you and Meek break up hes gonna be on twitter airing you out too boo." One fan went on saying, "Nicki Showed Her Fans More Attention When She Was With Safaree," while another added, "Ever since nicki an safaree broke up her tracks been weak."
While Nicki hasn't replied to her fans' comments yet, her camp spoke to Urban Islandz about her social media hiatus. "After constantly being on the road and always working sometime you need to take some time off to work on your personal life," said the sources. "It has been a while since she take some time off to spend with her family and she is also doing some recording. It's that time when she is thinking about her next album and what she want it to sound like."
Nicki's camp further explained that she didn't let anyone run her social media accounts. Of what she's currently busy with, the sources said, "There are some upcoming ventures that also requires some of her attention like her upcoming sitcom that she is executive producing with ABC."
