The actor who portrays Wolverine is rumored to be involved in the reshoots of the upcoming movie which will commence in January.

AceShowbiz - "X-Men: Apocalypse" may have wrapped production, but the cast and crew members of "X-Men: Apocalypse" will head back to Montreal in January for reshoots. According to Le Journal de Montreal, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will be involved in the reshoots.

"It seems that Hugh Jackman will be on hand," so reads a statement in the tabloid. Additionally, Le Journal de Montreal reports that all people involved in the movie will spend a few weeks shooting at Mel's Studio, the same location where the movie was filmed earlier this year.

Although 20th Century Fox has not officially announced Jackman's involvement in the upcoming movie, some reports suggested that he would appear in "Apocalypse". A custom leather goods company from Brooklyn hinted that Wolverine would make an appearance as the company had been asked to make a custom duffel bag for Jackman which he might use during the filming.

In the upcoming movie, Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Professor X (James McAvoy) are teaming up to fight against the newly-unleashed enemy Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who recruits a team of powerful mutants. Directed by Bryan Singer, "X-Men: Apocalypse" is scheduled for a release in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.
