Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are divorcing. The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their separation. They reportedly have a prenup with an amicable plan drawn up for custody of their son so they are expected to have a quick divorce.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce," they said in a joint statement. "We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children's privacy, as we go through this difficult period."

The pair dated after meeting on the set of "Dark Tide" in 2010. They tied the knot in July 2013 at the Chateau des Conde in Martinez's home country of France. They share a 2-year-old son, Maceo. Berry is also a mother to 6-year-old daughter, Nahla, from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.

The separation comes just one week after the couple was sued for $5 million by an LAX employee after he was shoved by the actor earlier this year. It's the third divorce for Berry. She was previously married to baseball player David Justice and then to R&B singer Eric Benet.
