Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are in negotiations for what could be for 90-minute movies, rather than a series.

AceShowbiz - Netflix is bringing back "Gilmore Girls". Sources confirm to TVLine that the network has closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a limited-series revival with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec producer Daniel Palladino.

According to the sources, major cast members like Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are in early negotiations to return to the series continuation. The revival will consist of four 90-minute episodes or mini-movies, rather than series.

Netflix is reportedly planning to start production early next year. Reps for both Netflix and Warner Bros. declined to comment on the report.

The "Gilmore Girls" revival would be Amy's opportunity to conclude the series as she always intended. Amy left the series prior the final season amid contract dispute with Warner Bros. She addressed a possibility of a revival during a reunion panel with the show's cast at ATX TV Festival earlier this year.

"It would have to be the right everything - the right format, the right timing," Amy said. "If it ever happened, I promise we'll do it correctly."

"Gilmore Girls" premiered on the now-defunct WB network in 2000, before transferring to The CW in 2006 for its final season.
