Anthony's wife Alvine has filed for divorce from him, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support.

AceShowbiz - Anthony Anderson and his wife Alvina Stewart are divorcing. She has filed legal divorce documents, listing April 1, 2014 as date of separation and citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
Neither Anthony nor Alvina has responded to the divorce news, which was first brought by TMZ. The couple, who were high school sweethearts, have been married since 1995. They are parents to two children Kyra, 19 and Nathan, 15.
As reported by TMZ, Alvina is asking for joint legal custody of the minor and primary physical custody, with Anthony getting "reasonable visitation." At the time of writing, there is no response just yet from Anthony's side regarding the divorce filing.
Anthony has been nominated for some awards for his starring role as Andre "Dre" Johnson, Sr in ABC's sitcom "Black-ish". He also hosts a show on the Food Network titled "Carnival Cravings with Anthony Anderson."He most recently served as the host of the 2015 BET Awards.
