'The Voice' Blind Auditions Part 2 Recap: Adam Levine-Blake Shelton Bickering Is On Again
TV

The two longtime coaches are arguing a lot as they often fight over the same singer in the second part of the Blind Auditions that feature some talented country artists.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" season 9 returned on Tuesday, September 22 with a literally blind audition. Blind Joe who can't see since birth has a killer country voice. His rendition of "If It Hadn't Been for Love" turned all four chairs, but as a country artist, he chose Blake Shelton as his coach. This prompted Adam Levine to vow that he would take a country artist from Blake.

Ivonne Acero returned after failing in last season's Blind Auditions. Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams liked her "Style" this time, with the latter arguing that her unique style would suit his team. Ivonne was clearly sold on his pitch as she chose to be on his team.

Regina Love is a Christian soul-singer and Atlanta radio personality. She was on Evander Holyfield's record label before the company folded. She showcased her powerhouse voice during her performance of "Rock Steady", and Adam and Blake turned for her. She chose to be on Team Adam.

Zach Seabaugh was a second country artist to audition that night. He sang Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time" and got all four coaches turn for him. Adam fought hard in an attempt to score a country artist, but Zach chose Blake without hesitant.

Evan McKeel also got a four-chair turn that night with his cover of Mutemath's "Typical". While he didn't sound great, Adam pointed out that he got progressively better with every chair turn. Pharrell then asked him to sing Stevie Wonder"s "Overjoyed" and Evan did sound better singing a slower song. For noticing his talent, Evan chose Skateboard P as his mentor.

Another country singer performed, but this time it was a female. Emily Ann Roberts with her sweet voice caused Adam and Blake, the only two coaches who hit the buzzers for her, to bicker. Predictably, Emily went with Blake. Blake then left the stage, saying he needed to throw up because Adam "disgusts" him.

Ellie Lawrence took on Ella Eyre's "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off". Adam, Gwen and Pharrell turned their chairs for her, but the two male coaches knew they didn't have a chance since Ellie looked ecstatic once Gwen hit the buzzer. The No Doubt singer scored her first singer of the night. Gwen also nabbed Noah Jackson, Tim Atlas and Hanna Ashbrook.

The last contestant of the night was James Dupre. The country singer said before singing he would go for Blake. Adam, Gwen and Pharrell hit the buzzers early in his song, before Blake finally turned around. James apparently had a change of heart and chose Adam as his mentor.
