AceShowbiz - FX has unleashed the first teaser for "American Crime Story". Sharing no footage from the upcoming TV series, it previews %cO.J. Simpson%'s murder trial through the lines delivered by several characters such as Simpson himself (%cCuba Gooding Jr.%), his attorney Robert Shapiro (%cJohn Travolta%) and prosecutor Marcia Clark (%cSarah Paulson%).

The first season of the new anthology series will focus on the 1995 sensational murder trial that involved O.J. Simpson. It promises to explore the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution overconfidence, defense shrewdness, and the LAPD's history with the city's African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.

Also starring on the show are %cDavid Schwimmer% as Robert Kardashian, %cCourtney B. Vance% as Johnnie Cochran, %cBilly Magnussen% as Kato Kaelin, %cSelma Blair% as %cKris Jenner%, %cConnie Britton% as Faye Resnick who befriended Simpson's murdered ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and %cJordana Brewster% as the victim's sister Denise Brown.

The new crime series is created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, and is executive produced by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy. It is set to premiere in February 2016 on FX.
