Giada De Laurentiis is now a single woman. The celebrity chef has finalized her divorce from Todd Thompson after 11 years of marriage. According to her divorce documents, obtained by TMZ, Giada and Todd will share joint custody of their 7-year-old daughter Jade Marie.
Giada has been ordered to pay Todd $9,000 in monthly child support. Because they didn't have prenup, Giada must give her ex-husband 50 percent of all net book royalties for books he published during their marriage and 50 percent of the unpaid advances to several cookbooks she has in the works, including a $2.5 million balance for Giada at Home/Weeknights with Giada, $2.3 million for Giada Feel Good Food, and $757,000 for Everyday Pasta/Giada's Kitchen.
Giada gets all rights to an untitled Italian cookbook, her production company Linguine Pictures, and all rights to GDL Foods, Inc. Todd gets their $3.2 million house in Pacific Palisades, $300,000 in art and furnishings and his membership in the swanky Bel-Air Bay Club. The couple each also gets to keep their vehicles.
Neither Giada nor Todd have been ordered to pay spousal support as they're both rich. Giada's estimated worth is $20 million while her ex is $15 million.
