The Australian actor allegedly shoved, spat and shouted at a female photographer while he was out with girlfriend Rosalind Ross.

AceShowbiz - Australian media outlets were set ablaze by the report that Mel Gibson had a scuffle with a female photographer outside a Sydney cinema on Sunday, August 23. A U.S. publicist for the Australian actor quickly hit back with clarification that the story was "a complete fabrication."
News Corp Australia photographer Kristi Miller came forward with the story that she attempted to take a picture of Gibson and his new girlfriend Rosalind Ross. The couple was leaving the Palace Verona cinema in Paddington, Sydney when Gibson allegedly shoved, spat and shouted at Miller.
"I took a photo of Mel and his girlfriend and when I turned around he shoved my back really hard," she told the Daily Telegraph which she worked for. "It shocked me because I wasn't expecting it. I don't know if it was his hands or elbow."
Miller continued, "He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I'm not even a human being and I will go to hell." She also said Ross tried to calm Gibson down and even apologized to Miller.
Gibson's publicist Alan Nierob told a different story. "Basically Mr Gibson and his friend were being harrassed by this photographer and he asked her repeatedly to stop, which she did not," he told Guardian Australia. "There was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by her is a complete fabrication of the truth."
Surry Hills police were investigating the incident. Gibson was in Australia to direct the World War II drama "Hacksaw Ridge", which stars Andrew Garfield.
