20th Century Fox has released the first official clip of "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials". Making its way out via MTV, the less-than-a-minute clip gives a look at Janson (Aidan Gillen) and Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) having a serious conversation.

It starts with Thomas sitting in an interrogation room when Janson enters. "Thomas, thanks for seeing me," Janson says. Looking deep into Thomas' eyes, Janson begins to ask him about WCKD, an organization responsible for keeping the Gliders in the maze. "I won't take up too much of your time. I only want to give you one question. What do you remember about WCKD?" Janson continues before asking, "Whose side are you on?" to Thomas.

According to the official synopsis, "Thomas and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all."

O'Brien leads the cast which also include Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Rosa Salazar, Thomas Sangster and Patricia Clarkson. "Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. on September 18. It is expected to at least repeat the success of its predecessor "The Maze Runner", which grossed $340.8 million at the worldwide box office against $34 million budget.
