The first official trailer for coming-of-age high school film "Ashby" has been released. The film highlights the life story of a teenager who struggles to fit in with his new environment after he moves to a new house.

The trailer opens with Ed (Nat Wolff) getting mocked by his friends in a new school. Ed cannot prove that he is too smart for his new Virginia high school as he only has one friend, Eloise (Emma Roberts).

When his teacher asks all students to go talk and write an essay about someone from an older generation, Ed turns to his neighbor Ashby Holt (Mickey Rourke) for help. Although Ashby denies to help Ed at the beginning, they seem to get along very well.

As the two embark on an unbelievable relationship, Ed finds out that Ashby is a former CIA assassin. Surprisingly, the fact makes the two become closer as Ed learns a lot of life lessons from Ashby, including how to be courageous. "You shouldn't be scared of the world. I kinda suspect the world should be scared of you," Ashby says.

The cast also include Sarah Silverman, Kevin Dunn and Bonnie Cole. The movie marks the directorial debut of Tony McNamara, who also wrote the script. The family movie will be released in limited theaters in the U.S. on September 25.
