John Boyega has found his next starring vehicle. The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor will star opposite Tom Hanks and Emma Watson in James Ponsoldt's thriller "The Circle".

Adapted from Dave Eggers' 2013 book of the same name, "The Circle" follows a woman who lands a job at a powerful tech company called the Circle, where she becomes involved with a mysterious man. Watson will play the central character while Hanks steps in the role of the charismatic man.

Boyega himself is playing The Circle's employee named Ty, described as the "boy-wonder visionary." He develops a relationship with Watson's character as she starts working at the company. "Next up! 'The circle' with Tom hanks, Emma Watson and James Ponsoldt directing. I'm excited about this untold story," Boyega tweeted about his casting.

Ponsoldt is also writing the script and producing alongside Hanks and Gary Goetzman for Playtone and Anthony Bregman for Likely Story. Filming will begin next month in California but premiere date is unknown.

Boyega's film "The Force Awakens" hits theaters on December 18.
