Zayn Malik was noticably absent at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 16. According to HollywoodLife, the former member of One Direction didn't attend the annual awards event because he wanted to avoid awkward reunion with his ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards after he threw shades at Little Mix on the previous day.

"Zayn is in L.A. and easily could have attended the awards, but he didn't want to deal with all the drama," a source told the website. His absence was also allegedly because he was pitted against his former bandmates for Choice Male Hottie. "Not only Perrie, but being nominated against 1D for Choice Male Hottie makes him uncomfortable, too. He is going to steer clear of the whole scene," said the source.

On Saturday, Zayn allegedly dissed Little Mix on Twitter by re-tweeting a post from account @musicnews_shade. The post asked Twitter users to vote which single is better, Fifth Harmony's "Worth It" or Little Mix's "Black Magic", by re-tweeting or favoriting the post. As Zayn re-tweeted the post, he clearly voted against Perrie and her bandmates.

The two are seemingly in a bitter relationship following their split. Previously, Perrie's bandmate Jade Thirlwall was photographed holding a sign which read, "Zayn is irrelevant, anyway!" Furthermore, the two reportedly have put their shared mansion on the market just two months after moving in.
