CBS reveals a major spoiler for "Under the Dome" which is currently in its third season. Speaking at the Television Critics Association's press tour on Monday, August 10, chairman Nina Tassler spilled, "The dome is coming down at the end of the season."

"That opens up a whole host of storytelling possibilities. You just don't know what will happen when the dome comes down," the executive teased. However, she said, "We're not making a decision just yet" on whether the show would be renewed for season 4.

Based Stephen King's novel of the same name, the sci-fi drama is set in a small town that is sealed off from the rest of the world by a massive transparent dome. It stars Eddie Cahill, Rachelle Lefevre, Natalie Martinez, Mike Vogel, and Samantha Mathis among others.

Also waiting for renewal is "Extant" starring Halle Berry.
