Director Bryan Singer shared an on-set photo which features a massive 'X' sign, which is made of two huge metal beams, in front of a post-apocalyptic building.

As production continues on "X-Men: Apocalypse", director Bryan Singer has shared another on-set picture. The photo features a massive "X" mark in front of a crumbled building. The "X" mark is made of two metal beams which are carefully positioned to form an "X".
"Someone drop something?" so reads the caption of the photo. It is not the first time that the film locations have been given an "X" mark. Production designer John Myhre did the same thing for "X-Men: Days of Future Past". Myhre had carefully placed "X" all over the film's locations, some so well hidden that Singer wasn't even aware of them.
In other news, the long-rumored "X-Men" crossover movie may never happen. "The Fantastic Four" producers Simon Kinberg and Hutch Parker stated that the "X-Men" and "Fantastic Four" operated in different realm. "They exist in parallel universes," Kinberg and Parker stated. "The Fantastic Four live in a world without mutants. And the X-Men live in a world without the Fantastic Four."
"Crossing them over would be challenging, but we sure would love to see all those actors together, the way we had them on stage at [San Diego] Comic Con," the producing duo seemingly shut down the rumors.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" centers on the conflict and war caused by the titular villain (Oscar Isaac) after he awakens from his Egyptian tomb. Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Professor X (James McAvoy) team up with other X-Men members to fight the newly-unleashed nemesis. The movie is scheduled for a release in U.S. theaters on May 27, 2016.
