Two people were injured in a shooting that took place outside J. Cole and Big Sean's concert venue at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel Township, New Jersey. The incident took place on Monday night, August 3 at around 11:15 P.M. in a parking lot after the concert ended, said Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams, a State Police spokesman.

The victims were flown to Jersey Shore Hospital by helicopter. According to a tweet posted by the New Jersey State Police, both of them were in critical condition. Hip-hop stars Cole and Sean were not injured in the shooting.

Police are still searching for the gunman who fled into the woods after he opened fire. An eyewitness, 18-year-old Omayma Bougdour, tells the Daily News that there was an argument in the parking lot before the suspect began shooting. The witness says "everyone started sprinting and stampeding."

Cole and Sean, who have been touring together, are next scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday.
