U2 has released a music video for their latest "Songs of Innocence" single, "Song for Someone". The nearly-eight-minute cinematic clip was debuted on SundanceTV's website following the third season premiere of "Rectify".

It follows Woody Harrelson as a man getting released from a prison probably after a very long stint. Most of the video offers glimpses at him as he prepares himself to meet his teenage daughter, played by his real-life daughter Zoe, who waits outside.

"Song for Someone" is the third single off their current album, which was made available for free for millions of iTunes users last year.

In support of their LP, the Irish band has been playing shows on their "Innocence + Experience Tour". Bono and Co. are scheduled to wrap up the North American leg of the tour with an eight-night concert at New York's Madison Square Garden before headlining their European dates.
