Beck has returned with a new song. After teasing it with some Instagram posts last week, the musician released on Monday, June 15 "Dreams" which has been confirmed as the first offering from his upcoming 10th studio album.

The 44-year-old multi instrumentalist co-wrote the track with Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt. He and Kurstin also performed all instruments featured on the song. The duo additionally produced the upbeat and danceable rock number.

In a recent interview with Los Angeles radio station Alt 98.7, Beck explained that "Dreams" "started out as a heavy garage rock thing and became much more of a dance - some kind of hybrid."

Beck's next studio effort has yet to have a title and release date. It would come as a follow-up to last year's "Morning Phase" which earned him the coveted Album of the Year Award in addition to Best Rock Album and Best Engineered Album at the Grammys earlier this year.
