Lady GaGa is developing a new business that involves her French bulldog, Miss Asia Kinney. The Mother Monster announces she will launch a pet product line that crafts "quality, functional and purposeful products" representing her theatrical creativity.
She has teased her newest venture on Instagram with pictures of her dog wearing a tux, bow, and other accessories. "I really have a knack for what's quality," she wrote in one photo. "My vision is to find creative and functional ways for pets and their owners to bond!"
Her manager Bobby Campbell said the singer had been working on it for six to eight months. It all started "very organically through the love of her dog," he explained, adding that a portion of proceeds will go to "locally-based organizations that do great work with real pets."
"This is not just about crazy outfits for dogs," Campbell told Billboard. "It's about giving pet parents and pet owners a fun and creative way for protecting their pets, as well as fun clothes to display on Instagram (because Gaga loves doing that)."
