Tracy Morgan stepped out for the first time in public since settling his lawsuit against Walmart over 2014 fatal car crash a day before. The former "30 Rock" star was seen leaving a rehab facility in New York City on Thursday, May 28 while still using a stick for support.

Tracy will make his first TV appearance since the deadly accident which left him with severe injuries on NBC's "Today" show. The comedian will do a live interview with Matt Lauer on Monday, June 1.

On the talk show, Tracy will be joined by his attorney, Benedict Morelli, who spoke last September that there was very slim possibility for the actor to perform again.

Tracy reached an amicable settlement on the lawsuit on Wednesday, saying that Walmart had admitted that they were at fault. "Walmart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families. I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably," he said in a statement.

Although details of the settlement were not made public, Benedict said in the statement that he and Walmart had been working hard to reach the mutual deal. "Walmart and I worked diligently to reach this settlement for the plaintiffs and their families," Benedict said. "Walmart took full responsibility for the accident, which we greatly appreciate."
