Matt LeBlanc Performs Classic Song From 'Friends' on 'Graham Norton Show'

Matt LeBlanc sang some songs from sitcom 'Friends' while stopping by 'Graham Norton Show', recalling his days as Joey Tribbiani.

AceShowbiz - While stopping by "The Graham Norton Show" on Friday, May 1, Matt LeBlanc proved that he still has deep connection with Joey Tribbiani, a character he played on sitcom "Friends". The interview which might have been expected to talk about his latest show "Episodes" turned into a nostalgic talk.

The 47-year-old actor was asked by host Graham Norton about his long-running sitcom, "Friends". Norton specifically mentioned one of Joey's surprising projects, a musical inspired by Sigmund Freud in an episode called "The One With the Butt".

"I think it was right in the very beginning of the first season, like episode four or something - it was called Freud," LeBlanc said. He didn't stop there, but went further by singing the song Joey sang during that episode where Joey played Sigmund Freud.

More with the nostalgia, LeBlanc also mentioned one of episodes from the fifth season where his character meets a man whose hand looks exactly the same as his own. "Oh my god," said the actor, laughing as he recalled the episode.

"So he comes up with this song and I think it goes like this," LeBlanc continued by singing the tune of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land", "This hand is your hand, this hand is my hand. No, wait, that's your hand. Oh no, that's my hand!"

"Friends" ran for 10 years, making it one of longest-running sitcoms in America. Besides LeBlanc, the show starred Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
