Stepchildren of a woman killed in February car crash involving Bruce are suing him for wrongful death, accusing him of being 'careless, reckless and negligent.'

AceShowbiz - Bruce Jenner is being sued by the stepchildren of Kim Howe, the woman who was killed in February car crash involving the reality star. Dana Redmond and William Howe filed on Friday, May 1 a wrongful death lawsuit against Bruce, accusing him of being "careless, reckless and negligent" when he struck into the back of Kim's car in Malibu.

Dana and William also accused Bruce of speeding and having "violated the rules of the road." They alleged in their lawsuit that "the death of Kimberly Howe caused plaintiffs to suffer enormous damages and losses," including lost "love, affection" and "financial support." Kim's stepchildren claimed they had been dependent on her and had since "incurred bills and out of pocket damages and losses, to their great detriment."

Dana and William are seeking for damages in excess of $25,000 to be proven at trial.

The stepchildren's lawyer told New York Daily News, "Kim Howe was the step-mother to Dana Redmond and William Howe for approximately 40 years. Even after their father's death ten years ago, Dana and William continued to have a close relationship with Ms. Howe. So far, no one has accepted responsibility for the collision that resulted in Ms. Howe's death. Her children feel an obligation to bring the truth to light and seek justice for Ms. Howe. This lawsuit is the only tool at their disposal that gives them the ability to do so."

Bruce's representative hasn't commented on the issue yet.
