Barry Manilow is a married man now as reports have been floating all over the internet that he married his longtime manager Garry Kief in a private ceremony last year. The two exchanged vows at the singer's Palm Springs, California, home with around 50 guests witnessing.

The National Enquirer (via Radar Online) which was first to report the news claimed guests were initially told they were invited to lunch and so "it was a total surprise. When they arrived they were told it was a wedding!" A source close to Barry explained, "Barry has lived a very secretive life and the wedding was no different! Barry and Garry did not tell friends or family that the occasion was their wedding," adding, "It was a beautiful wedding and consummated their lifelong love affair."

It's additionally reported that "longtime friend and Palm Springs neighbor Suzanne Somers was the best man, and Marc Hulett - Manilow's assistant since the 1980s - performed the 'commitment ceremony' after he registered online to become a minister."

Though Barry and Garry didn't sign any official paperwork, the couple did wear wedding bands and "are committed to one another and have been for a very long time," a Manilow source has been quoted as telling PEOPLE. "They have a great relationship. Garry has always been there for Barry," the source added.
