HBO has released a new trailer for "Game of Thrones" season 5 as it announced a standalone streaming service launched in partnership with Apple. The new video features fresh scenes and is packed with action sequence.
"Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they're all just spokes on a wheel," Daenerys Targaryen says. "This one's on top and that one's on top and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. We're not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break the wheel."
Dany faces a rebellion and Daario Naharis orders a slaughter to end it. Dany seemingly doesn't think violence is a solution to the matter, saying while in bed with Daario, "I'm a queen, not a butcher." He responds, "All of us are either butchers or meat." Meanwhile, Tyrion Lannister gets a sight of one of Dany's dragons.
Elsewhere, Stannis Baratheon prepares to take the north and Jon Snow suggests that the Night's Watch learns to live side by side with the wildlings as the wildlings plan another attack at the Wall. There's also a glimpse of new character The High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) who says, "We serve the gods. And the gods demand justice."
The new season of "Game of Thrones" premieres Sunday, April 12 on HBO.
