While fans are eagerly waiting for his new album, Kendrick Lamar has treated Prince Jackson to a private listening session. The Compton rapper recently met with the son of the late legend Michael Jackson and let him listen to a few of his new songs.

Jackson revealed the meet-up in a couple of photos he posted on Twitter on Tuesday, February 24. The 18-year-old teen captioned the images, "Had the great honor of meeting Kendrick and hearing some of his new tracks for his upcoming album with @RealOBee."

The follow-up to Lamar's 2012 acclaimed debut album "good kid, m.A.A.d city" has been in the works for a while, but it still has no official release date. The upcoming effort is led by single "i" which recently won two Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. He has also released the LP's second offering, the powerful "The Blacker the Berry".
