AceShowbiz - After false engagement and marriage reports, Lady GaGa finally got engaged to longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney for real. The singer confirmed their engagement by posting on Instagram the engagement ring he presented to her. "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" so she captioned the pic.
Soon following Kinney's proposal, the couple had a celebration at GaGa's family's restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. "I heard the singer say 'It was time' as she flashed the ring around," Times Herald-Record executive editor Barry Lewis claimed.
Lewis, who was dining at the eatery with his wife on Valentine's Day, also revealed that GaGa's father Joe Germanotta, opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate the couple's engagement. There's no word on wedding plans just yet.
GaGa and Kinney, who have been dating for four years, have become the target of false engagement and wedding reports. The couple is never shy of showing off their adoration for one another. "It has been hard for me to find it but I have found love. When you meet someone that's not intimidated by the amazing people that are around you [or] by the love that you receive - that's love," GaGa once told Fashion magazine. As for Kinney, the actor-model told Glamour, "I think we just complement each other. I'm proud of her, and I'd like to believe she's proud of me. We're kindred spirits."
