Oscar Isaac Teases 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Villain's Power

The actor who plays the villainous Apocalypse shares little info regarding his character in a new interview with Jessica Chastain.

AceShowbiz - Oscar Isaac confirms that the villainous Apocalypse will have super cool power in "X-Men: Apocalypse". The actor who is tapped to play the villain, also known as En Sabah Nur, in the follow-up to "X-Men: Days of Future Past" teases his role in a new interview with Coming Soon to promote his new movie "A Most Violent Year" with Jessica Chastain.

Isaac, who was asked about the character's costume, shared, "It hasn't been figured out yet. But one of his major powers is being able to change all the molecules in his body. So I'll be changing all the molecules in my body." The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" star also expressed his excitement about the power, adding, "It's gonna be a lot of fun."

In the comic book, Apocalypse is seen as a very powerful mutant who can change his body's molecules and transform his body parts into weapons. He was teased in the end of "Days of Future Past" where he can be seen alongside the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" reportedly is set to start production in April. The movie will be set in the 80s and will see Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters reprising their roles as Magneto, Professor Xavier, Mystique, Beast and Quicksilver respectively. Patrick Stewart has confirmed that he and Ian McKellen will not appear in the Bryan Singer-directed movie which is set for release on May 27, 2016.
