The rapper stops his Maryland concert, which took place just hours after the news of Yam's death broke, for about 10 seconds to honor his pal.

AceShowbiz - Following the shocking death of A$AP Yams, A$AP Ferg paid homage to his late pal during a concert. The rapper, who's on his ongoing "Beast Coast Connection" tour with YG, halted his show in Maryland on Sunday night, January 18 to hold a moment of silence.

"Rest in peace A$AP Yams. Listen, if Yams was here partying with us right now, he might have told you he f**ked your b***h," Ferg joked while standing in front of the crowd at The Fillmore before performing the next song on his setlist.

Yams, whose real name is Steven Rodriguez, is one of the founders of A$AP Mob. He passed away at the age of 26 earlier on Sunday. Details surrounding his death are currently unavailable, but fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Ant has made it clear that his friend didn't die from a drug overdose.

During his appearance on Vlad TV, Ant said, "People keep talking 'bout he overdosed on Xanax and s**t like that, lean. No, that's not what happened at all." He also said that he believed Yams "wouldn't want nobody to feel sorry for him. He'd want n***as to live it up for him. Throw a party for him or something like that. Smile for him."
