AceShowbiz - Michael Strahan ripped his pants during his opening monologue for the 2015 Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday evening, January 15. The show was opened with a group of shirtless buff men performing sexy dance onstage. Michael, who wore a sleek black suit, then joined the dancers from behind.
After the dancers left the stage, Michael joked about not taking part in "Magic Mike XXL", telling the audience, "You didn't think I was going to go there did you?" He later added, "Maybe next year I'll be down there with you nominees for my role in 'Magic Mike', you never know! I worry about them cutting me out of the movie and if they cut me out, nobody's going to see it. So how about we give you a little something right now."
The former NFL star then shocked the audience when he ripped his pants and exposed his black fitted boxer. The "Live! with Kelly and Michael" host then performed awkward dance moves while showing off his muscular legs. "You know, I don't really have many lines in the movie but who needs lines when you have legs like these," he joked.
In other segments, Michael poked fun at some of popular movies like "Maleficent", "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel". He wore costumes of Angelina Jolie's titular character Maleficent, Ian McKellen's character Gandalf the Grey and Zero Moustafa's lobby boy character.
