Director Michelle MacLaren Says 'Wonder Woman' Hasn't Been Officially Greenlit

In a new interview with Vulture, the 'Walking Dead' director additionally says that she cannot offer any details from the upcoming project, adding the movie has no script yet.

AceShowbiz - Michelle MacLaren has been signed on for directing role for "Wonder Woman" movie. In a new interview with Vulture, the director whose credits include "The Walking Dead" and "Game of Thrones" shared that the project had not been greenlit by Warner Bros. and had no script yet.

MacLaren, however, refused to share anything from the upcoming movie starring Gal Gadot. "I really, really, really can't talk about this," she said while gesturing to the windows, "I just picture a drone coming in over the hills and crashing through the glass and flying over here and putting duct tape over my mouth, you know?"

Gadot's Wonder Woman will first make an appearance in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" before getting her own spin-off which eyes a June 23, 2017 release. In a recent interview, Amy Adams who plays Lois Lane in the film shared what she thought about Gadot's costume when talking to MTV to promote her new movie "Big Eyes".

"I can't really say!" she replied when asked if fans would see Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the same room. "But I will say that Gal looks really, really good in that costume. I was like, really? They make them like you? That's awesome... For you. I'm really happy for you. Not so much for me. But, Lois is a mortal."
