The rapper was so mad at his label that he went on a Twitter rant to reveal to his fans that it was not his fault.

AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne went on a Twitter rant on Thursday, December 4 over the news that his new studio album is getting delayed, again. The rapper was mad that his eleventh effort, "Tha Carter V", will not see the light on December 9 as scheduled.

Wayne openly blamed his label Cash Money Records and its chief executive Birdman, who is also his longtime mentor, for the delay. "To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it," he tweeted.

Weezy added, "This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation." He did not stop there. Wayne said he "want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."

Under his April 2012 contract, Wayne is due to release four albums for the label. He had released "I Am Not A Human Being II" last year and wanted to split "Tha Carter V" into two parts, presumably to complete his contractual obligation sooner.

"Tha Carter" was originally slated for May 5 release before it was pushed to October 28. Singles from the album have failed to gain momentum on music charts with best single "Believe Me" peaking at No. 26 on Billboard Hot 100. Wayne's previous installment in the "Carter" series debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with nearly 1 million copies sold.

Birdman, Cash Money and Wayne's reps have not commented on the delay. "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don't blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u," Wayne tweeted on Thursday.
