The Bond 24 film is titled after Ernst Stavro Blofeld's evil organization as the new leading ladies, the car, and the synopsis are unveiled.

AceShowbiz - The new James Bond film announces the title and cast lineup during a live stream press conference at Pinewood Studios in London. The Bond 24 is officially called "Spectre". "Those of you who have some knowledge of the Bond franchise and the legend of Bond probably have some idea what that refers to but I couldn't possibly comment," director Sam Mendes said.

SPECTRE stands for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion. The organization and its leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld were absent from the recent Bond films, but now they are returning to the big screen after the producers reached settlement with Kevin McClory's estate who owned the names to the fearsome character and his evil organization.

Daniel Craig is back for the fourth time as the 007 spy agent. The other returning cast members include Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ralph Fiennes as M. They are joined by new members like Dave Bautista as a henchman named Mr. Hinx and Andrew Scott as MI5 employee Denbigh. Meanwhile, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux are tapped as the new Bond girls Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively.

Christoph Waltz is added as Oberhauser who coincidentally has the same last name as Franz Oberhauser, a ski instructor who acted as a father figure to Bond. It's unclear who will play Blofeld, but it was previously reported that the main baddie would be changed "to fit in with the new-look 007." Rumor has it, he's related to Franz and Waltz is supposedly enlisted to portray the new version of the villain.

When asked about the rumor, Craig played it coy and said people would have to "wait and see." "We started something in 'Skyfall', it felt like a beginning of something," he explained. "This feels like a continuation of that. We're going to put all of those elements in, and much more." He also said, "We've got an amazing cast and, I think, a better script than we had last time."

Written by John Logan, Neil Purvis, and Rob Wade, "Spectre" is due November 6, 2015. Principal photography begins December 8. The production will be based at the Pinewood Studios, and the filming will take place at various locations across the globe like Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Solden, Obertilliach, and Lake Altausee, Austria.

In the "Skyfall" sequel, a cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Aston Martin DB10 will be Bond's new ride in the film.
