The Oscar-winning actress mentions her character in the upcoming 'X-Men: Apocalypse' during an interview to promote 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence has dropped a hint at where fans will find her character Mystique in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse". In a new interview with IGN to promote her latest flick "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1", Lawrence opens up about the shape-shifting character and where she can be found.

"She's very complex," Lawrence says. "She's a hero to her own race in a way which makes her a villain to her opposite race. I don't really know where she's going to go. I've had a few conversations about where we'll find her. She obviously needs to be in hiding somewhere."

In September, it was reported that the upcoming movie would center on the story of Nicholas Hoult's Beast and Mystique. Earlier this month, The Hollywood Reporter said that the movie would put "Mystique and [Michael Fassbender] Magneto's romance front and center."

The follow-up to "X Men: Days of Future Past" is set to start production in Montreal in April. James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman and Evan Peters will reprise their roles as Professor Xavier, Wolverine and Quicksilver respectively. Directed by Bryan Singer, it will also feature younger versions of Jean Grey and Cyclops which originally were played by Famke Janssen and James Marsden.
