The alternative version, which the rapper can barely remember, will be featured on his upcoming 'ShadyXV' compilation album.

AceShowbiz - With a few days left until he drops his "ShadyXV", Eminem shared on Tuesday, November 18 a video to promote the compilation. In the clip, the rapper talks about another version of "Lose Yourself" that he didn't even remember recording.
"There was another version of that song," the Detroit native says at the beginning of the 32-second clip. "I don't remember where I was at when I recorded it. I don't remember any of the first verse. I don't remember."
"So when he called me one day and told me about it, I was like, 'What?' He was like, 'Remember the scratch version of 'Lose Yourself'. I'm like, 'No. Seriously,' " he continues, recalling a conversation presumably with his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg.
The black-and-white footage of Em talking intersperses with brief snippets of the unreleased version of the track.
The original "Lose Yourself" was released in early 2000s and went on to become one of Eminem's biggest hits. In addition to topping the charts across the globe and winning multiple Grammys, the song featured on the soundtrack of his movie "8 Mile" won an Oscar for Best Original Song.
The alternative version will be on the second disc of the "ShadyXV" album which is due out on November 24.
