Kaley Cuoco was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, October 29. She was joined by her husband, Ryan Sweeting, as well as "The Big Bang Theory" co-stars including Simon Helberg, Melissa Rauch, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsonsand Kunal Nayyar at the unveiling ceremony.
In a video obtained by E! Online, Kaley got emotional when thanking everyone who supported her at the event which she described as "unbelievably sweet and overwhelming." She said, "I didn't write a speech, because I thought I would just speak from my heart and I already started crying in the car on the way over here, so I got that out of the way. I still think they are going to call and say this was a mistake."
She also thanked John Ritter, a dear friend she worked with on "8 Simple Rules". She later talked about the late actor in an interview with the site. "Like I said, [John] must be jumping off the walls right now," she said, "I can't even imagine what's going on up there." She described him as "adorable" and "one of my favorite people."
The 28-year-old actress also thanked her husband, saying, "[To] my husband, Ryan, who has also dealt with a lot of Kaley days, you have no idea how much I love you. This would not be the same without being able to share it with you today."
Kaley took to Instagram to share some photos taken at the event. In one of the photos, she could be seen squatting in front of John's star at the walk. She captioned the picture, "What a dream to have my... next to my sweet John Ritter. I think he's doing a little dance right now! I'm definitely being looked after."
