'Dancing with the Stars': Baby News and Predictable Elimination on Halloween Night
TV

Alfonso Ribeiro reveals that his wife is pregnant with their second child after dancing a rumba with Witney Carson while battling a groin ache and injuries to his nose, his toe and back.

AceShowbiz - Len Goodman and Erin Andrews are back on "Dancing with the Stars" just in time to celebrate Halloween with the remaining contestants. On Monday, October 27, the British dancer emerged from a coffin to rejoin Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough in the judging panel, while Erin returned as co-host alongside Tom Bergeron.

The night was more special as the eight pairs danced in two groups, but first they performed the usual individual numbers. Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd danced a quickstep. Peta was worried because the 76-year-old had to learn two dances in a week and it exhausted him, but he did well on the performance night. Len praised his charm, and Julianne gushed, "Tommy, you did it again, those kicks were hard." The comedian earned 28 out of 40 points.

Lea Thompson had a tough time during rehearsals following the criticisms she got last week. Her Argetine tango with Artem Chigvintsev, however, showed that she still deserved to stay on the show. Julianne advised her, "You need to give yourself a break, don't forget the fun of it." Len said, "It was very clean and very precise, it was lacking chemistry though." The actress earned 34 points.

Derek Hough choreographed an epic number of paso doble in an effort to show Bethany Mota's best potential. It worked as the judges were full of praise, except for Len who thought "the dance was lost in the production." Juliannne disagreed, saying, "You were not lost at all" and that they "nailed it." The YouTube personality earned 39 points.

Next, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Burke danced the Viennese waltz but they "disappointed" Carrie Ann. "It never quite felt smooth," she said. Julianne commented, "The first 10, 11 bars you were just walking, things just went wrong." Antonio earned 27 points.

Michael Waltrip showed an even worse performance during his jive with Emma Slater. Being honest and harsh, Len said, "I am surprised that you made it to week 7, you are running on empty, you did your best, but it wasn't good enough." Julianne called it "a nightmare," as Carrie Ann called it "more like a great freestyle." The NASCAR driver only earned 20 points, which was the lowest for individual dance that night.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy also danced the Viennese waltz, which was praised by the judges though Julianne and Len said it was not a proper Viennese waltz. Carrie Ann loved the fluidity of motion. The judges gave the actress 31 points.

Alfonso Ribeiro was still battling a groin injury and had to dance with injuries to his nose, his toe and back. His pro partner Witney Carson had a sore rib but they didn't show it during their rumba. Bruno said it was "captivating," and Carrie Ann was "so impressed." They gave the actor 36 points.

During the judges' comments, Alfonso broke the news that he and his wife are expecting their second child. "My son, it's his first birthday today, so I'm so happy that he's here with me," he said. "And as a wonderful present, my wife and I decided to get him a little brother or sister. We're having a baby! I wanted to announce it here on the show because I just wanted to say thank you to all the fans and say I love my wife."

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas followed it up with a paso doble, but Carrie Ann said, "It was not the Paso Doble I wanted," and she "wanted to see more power." Julianne thought "the theme did get away with you." The reality TV star earned 30 points.

Next, team Itsy Bitsy which consisted of Lea & Artem, Michael & Emma, Bethany & Derek as well as Janel & Valentin danced the group routine. Their spidery freestyle earned praises from the judges and each of the pairs earned additional 36 points.

Team Creepy which consisted of Tommy & Peta, Alfonso & Witney, Antonio and Cheryl as well as Sadie and Mark danced a carnival freestyle. Carrie Ann said, "As a performance, I liked this one better," but the judges scored the performance 32.

At the end of the night, a pair was sent packing and they were Antonio and his pro partner Cheryl. The actor was grateful, saying, "It's all about the fans. And that's why I'm here. And the man upstairs." Cheryl, meanwhile, admitted that it was "so sad for me to say goodbye."
