AceShowbiz - Fans can soon play the "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack on their boomboxes. Billboard reports that the record, which has been released digitally and on CD and vinyl, will also be available on cassette tape next month.

The "Guardians" cassette will arrive on November 17 along with the classic mixtape cover art and all the song titles written in pen via Marvel Music/Hollywood Records, which is a division of Disney Music Group. It will be available exclusively for indie music stores that participate in Record Store Day until December 31.

"Each cassette will come with a digital download version of the album," Billboard wrote. The site notes that it will be the first music cassette released by Disney since 2003. There's no word on how many copies the "Guardians" cassette will be released.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack, titled "Awesome Mix, Vol. 1", was released earlier this year and peaked at No.1 on Billboard 200. With 543,000 copies sold, it is now the tenth largest selling album of 2014.

The set includes tracks from David Bowie, Jackson 5 and Marvin Gaye among others. In the film, the songs are on the mixtape in the main character's Walkman given to him by his mother. The songs can be heard throughout the movie.
