The popular mobile game app developer Outfit 7 struck a deal with Mythology Entertainment to adapt it for big screen.

AceShowbiz - "Angry Birds" and "Temple Run" have scored movie deals, and it's Talking Tom's turn. "Talking Tom and Friends" is heading to theaters after Mythology Entertainment inked deal with the mobile app game's developer Outfit 7.
"Talking Tom" is an interactive app featuring a cat that responds to gestures and animates voice recordings. The app has been downloaded more than 2 billion globally this fall. It also spawned web series on Disney Interactive YouTube channel, plush toys, and other merchandise.

Per Variety, the film could take the form of a fully animated or live action-animated hybrid. No other details were released.
