Tracy Morgan was seen being wheeled as his fiancee and his daughter accompanied him into a hospital in New York City on Wednesday, October 1. In a video obtained by TMZ, Tracy could be seen wearing a white hoodie paired with blue jeans and white shoes.
New York Daily News obtained some photos which showed Tracy used a walker to get around his house in New Jersey earlier that day. According to the site, the comedian was seen walking with the help of a cane, before giving away to a sturdier walker. The site said, "His progress appeared to be painfully slow as he inched his way to a waiting SUV."
Tracy's attorney Benedict Morelli told the site of his client, "This is the way he is now. He has to use the wheelchair anytime he's out and about. He can't do that many steps. He's still unsteady. He has this head injury, and his leg isn't totally better yet. He has to struggle to inch along."
The day before, Benedict said that doctors were unsure if Tracy would ever perform again. "The jury's still out. The doctors don't know the answer. I don't know the answer," he said.
Tracy was badly injured following a six car accident involving his limo bus and a Walmart Truck back in June. A month later, he sued Walmart for negligence, saying the truck driver had been awake for more than 24 hours prior to the crash.
Walmart filed on Monday a response to Tracy's suit, blaming him for not wearing seat belt during the car crash. On the next day, the "Superhero Movie" star fired back at the company, saying in a statement, "I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong. I want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time. I love you all. I'm fighting hard every day to get back."
