The actor who plays a younger Professor X says his character will finally lose his hair in the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' sequel.

AceShowbiz - James McAvoy discusses "X-Men: Days of Future Past" sequel. The actor who plays a young version of Professor X in the franchise opens up what's in store for his character next in the upcoming installment "X-Men: Apocalypse".

"I'll be older in this one," the "Filth" actor spills in a new interview with The Huffington Post to confirm his return to the eighth entry in the "X-Men" movie series. "[And] I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know."

But other than that, he doesn't know about what the new film will entail. "I got an email from the [producer/writer Simon Kinberg] who informed me he was getting dead excited about stuff, but he didn't want to divulge anything for a couple of weeks, so I really don't know," so he says.

"It does seem fairly global, if we're talking apocalypse. Maybe it's just the character's name, but I think the nature of the film is going to be fairly apocalyptic as well," he goes on.

The movie is scheduled to begin rolling the camera April 2015, filming at Mel's Cite du Cinema in Montreal where "Days of Future Past" was previously shot. It is planned to be released in theaters across the United States starting May 27, 2016.

Bryan Singer returns as the director, and the likes of Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman and Evan Peters are expected to reprise their respective roles as well.
