Movie

Stone may get her chance to play Sally Bowles on Broadway after all after not being able to commit to the role last year.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" star Emma Stone may be headed to Broadway soon. The 25-year-old actress is in talks to take over for Michelle Williams in the Roundabout Theater Company's production of "Cabaret".

A rep of the company confirms to The Wrap that Stone is negotiating for the role of Sally Bowles. Williams has been filling the role since April and will play the part through November 9. The show is scheduled to run on Broadway up until January 4. The rest of the cast including Alan Cumming, Linda Emond, and Danny Burstein remain intact.

Stone actually was one of the original candidates of Bowles on the show's third Broadway revival but scheduling conflicts prevented her from committing. She had "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and "Magic in the Moonlight" coming out this summer.
