Johnny Depp made a cameo appearance at Aerosmith's recent concert in Massachusetts. The actor, who was in the state to film Whitey Bulger biopic "Black Mass", took some time off to visit the rock band during their show at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.

Depp popped onstage during Aerosmith's final encore of the night. "Yo! Bringing out on stage my good friend, Mr. Johnny Depp!" the band's frontman Steven Tyler told the crowd when introducing the 51-year-old star.

Depp joined the group to play the guitar during the performance of blues song "Train Kept A-Rollin' ". He also pleased the audience with an extended guitar solo.

That wouldn't be Depp's first time to have appeared at Aerosmith's concert. He previously joined the rockers for the same song during their gig at the Hollywood Bowl in 2012. He's also featured in their "Music From Another Dimension" album, adding backing vocals to a song called "Freedom Fighter".
